Just use a y lead off one of your ailerons for the rudder. Works for me.
What are you using to verify the current your batteries are taking to recharge? If you are trusting the reading of the charger, then remember there are inefficiencies both ways. Losses occur during...
RV repair service is excellent. They can be a bit hit or miss with responding to enquiries, but I have sent my RVOSDs back quite a few times for repair and they have always come back. ( I break mine...
Most likely need for RTH is loss of video feed or out of RC range. RTH usually doesnt need to bring the plane all the way home. It just needs to maintain control and head back to you for a short...
PM that code to Alex for an unlock code.
Dont try using the onboard 5v supply for RC gear. Its not got sufficient current capacity for this. Its just for camera and Vtx gear. Most guys use a separate Ubec too, rather than the one in the...
That is all I do. Just a short jumper lead with 2 servo plugs and red/black. I connect between an unused servo port on RVOSD and aux V input.
Check the sensor with a magnifying glass. Might have a burnt track. Also check for V between battery + and sensor (-).
And check for continuity between sensor lead (-) and battery (-).
It depends on how your servos respond to low V. I had a servo short out in flight once, taking the 5v rail low. Everything froze except the pan servo, which rotated full lock. Another time my aux...
This is why I always have more than one of almost everything. Cant beat having spares. Especially when debugging.
You can trust it. I have used RVOSD for nearly 5 years with hundreds of flight hours. Never had a crash or lockup during running. Occasionally it might need a restart after bootup. Only inflight...
How are you testing this? If you test RTH on the ground it will run at cruise throttle trying to get up to cruise altitude.
It is very reassuring to have a backup plan. My setup is configured so I have a dedicated aux switch mixed to force throttle to 110%, to simulate failsafe. I use the second aux to control the other...
Good luck with that. I wouldnt attempt to use RVOSD without video feedback. Its possible of course, but I wouldnt feel comfortable.
You will enjoy it Bill. Im running out of channels though.
I think this is the patch you need.

Post picture of your setup.
Ok Thanks Bill. I was getting flak from the boss anyway about going out flying while on holidays. Looks like I have to go cold turkey a bit longer.
I did manage to go parasailing in Hawaii though....
Hi Bill,
Still in Huntersville NC. We will be heading to Round Rock on the 15th, til 21st. Might be able to catch up for a few hours.
It was amazing. I have been through Dulles, which seems to go on forever, and O'Hare which is ginormous too.
Adelaide airport terminal has about 20 gates.
Good stuff microsuck. Fwiw, I was in DFW airport on Monday. That is one bigass airport!
That should work. You can also power via the aux power socket
Got 1200' parasail today!
Yup! Im in Waikiki atm!!!
