I'm sorry to hear you guys are having hardware issues. It could also be a driver problem. I would ho into the device manager and check for exclamation points (errors).
Make sure you download the latest version of my software. Just a few versions ago, there was an incompatibility issue due to a change in the RV protocol.
You should be on 1.3.33 (or newer).

On the data file tab you mean? Or are you looking to record video. Try typing a name on the combo box (like the word test) and you should be ready to record the telemetry data.
And thanks for the...
I'm still confused about the title of this thread. How is it my free software has been identified as the cause of your unhappiness? I make the effort to get my software to work on this device and...
No, I use com0com but the 64 bit requires a signed version. So if you google it, make sure you download the signed version if you're on 64. Then create 2 com ports....actually, I just need to make a...

@bobcnz, what I can't figure out is how it's possible that 3 billion devices (according to Sun's Java installer) use Java and they have a development environment that's complete garbage? To me,...
It is a mess. So far, it's a gigantic step backwards....but I'm envisioning the move to iOS as a trip to another planet. Too soon to tell. Just now writing my first real app. It's touching on a whole...

Guys I will get to the bottom of this tonight. Thanks for posting the data. It's probably a regional issue as mentioned above. I neglected to check it before posting my last version.
Believe me,...
Alex, do you see anything wrong with that data?
@tomekr, that's very interesting. It looks like it doesn't see that as valid data. I'll have to take a look when I get home but it looks like you're running the latest version of the GCS... Do you...
@Superevan, the plan would be to connect the RVGS directly to the tablet. In the case of other manufacturers where the data comes in via X-Bee, the plan would be to connect the X-Bee directly to the...
Thanks! I might have exageratered a bit. You also have to select the baud rate.
You should be able to use something like hyper terminal or termite to capture the data. It's human readable. If you can't see the data through a terminal program, then you might have a bad cable, a...
Frankly, I've never heard anyone complain about my software being too difficult to use. I wrote it to be as simple as selecting your com port and hitting connect. What is the power requirement to get...
Microsoft has completely failed in all of it's attempts to create a mobile OS. What do we have Windows Mobile, Windows CE, Pocket PC...all complete and utter failures. I would also agree that the...
What do you need help with?
Here are a couple charts for your consideration. They both came from this website: http://coldstreams.com/?p=2540 and I really don't have any clue how accurate they are. Nor do I know why the iPad...
I'm not sure how the misconception about iOS and developers or even FPV users came about. Apple continues to lose market share to Google/Android. I've been a Windows guy since about the mid 80's when...

Actually, please point me in the right direction. I've done a little Googling trying to find a good reason to move to 2008 or 2010....and haven't found one yet.
I'm not trying to be a smart a$$...
All the source is there.... You'll need an SVN client to download it...I just fumble my way through SVN commits as I don't really know my way around all that well.
It's in VS2005 VB.NET. I went...
