Mine stays below 1.0 most of the time... but 1.4 is good enough, just set your HDOP (in RVOSD menu) a bit higher than the default 1.36 to avoid long waiting time to get a lock
Really nice update Alex!
Works wonderfully! (v.5.0)
It's not possible at the moment. Don't know if Alex is thinking in adding that option.
Feb probably...
Left is airspeed, right side is GPS speed.
You're right about the no best installation for the tube and I'm aware of it (I'm an aerospace engineer) but, for me, there is no need for any solution as like I have said, airspeed is working as it...
Here you have it:

Mine is working great in my glider fuselage. Even standing behind the prop (my setup) just don't affect it and I've tested it in many flights believe me.
When there is no wind the two speeds are...
Mine also are on a servo lead and works a treat... Remember Alex saying to avoid direct soldering to the board due to temperature changes...
Teejay,
Also had a similar problem...
Just check this: http://rangevideo.com/forum/showthread.php?2548-RVOSD5-GPS-wires-connection&p=25761#post25761
Alex,
What receiver antenna were you using in the 80km flight?
My Pickit works good in my win7 x64
I think that it displayed the flight summary since all the info frozen for a sufficient time to RVOSD think the plane has actually landed. Just a guess.
Frank,
I had experienced exactly that behaviour with my RVOSD. I found that the cause was the GPS cable to the OSD. It didn't say disconnected but the truth is that it was almost. After some some...
The radius you are talking about can be set on the menu RTH loiter radius AP 2/3 page
alainrac,
on AP screen 2/3, look for "RTH Loiter range". You can also change direction of turn - clockwise or counterclockwise...
Alex,
en la próxima actualización de firmware de la velocidad del aire (no el gps) que ya se mantendrá / controlado por el piloto automático?
gracias
Mine works fine.
I have a PZ0420 and don't have any problem also using it.
Yes you can, I use that approach and works well
Many thanks for the excellent service Alex!
I'll keep only the jumper in that case. GPS seems really to have the same performance.
Alex, can I use an inductor in line with VDD wire from RVOSD to GPS to have the same effect as L9? Wires are atm temporarily soldered to verify that works but can also include an inductor in-line...
GPS now works as it should with the jumper instead of L9.
Probably that inductor act as a filter to minimize interference in GPS cables.. my question is what performance degradation should I expect...
Alex,
I verified that I get no continuity between those two pins that supposed to be Vdd.
Also no continuity across L9...
