    Default RVOSD question

    hi..

i have some questions.. i going to connect the rvosd to dragon link with ppm.. do the dragon link
get power from the ppm cabel?? and then i have to connetct the throttle out to the esc, the esc cabel
has a "bec" or it delivers 5v.. do i have to remove the 5v or is it ok to give it 5v???

DL Rx will get its 5v from the ppm cable. If you are not using a separate UBEC then the speed controller will provide 5v to run the Rx and servos. If you are running a lot of servos and decide to use a separate larger capacity UBEC to run your 5v supply, then you need to disconnect the +5v wire from the speed controller to the RVOSD.

ok that was good thanks for god explanation, but that should have been written in the manual.. that you have to
connect 5v to the 5v rail.. it only shows in the manual that its independent. to me that was a big question mark.. i
didnt understand what it went, but since i had the dragonosd i remembered that this one also had to connect 5v to
the "servo rails".. because the osd didn't give power to the servos (only signal)

A lot of people ask this question. It is mentioned in the instructions, however there is quite a lot of stuff to digest there, so its understandable missing stuff.
Another point not immediately obvious is that if you decide to use a separate Ubec, you can connect it anywhere. Either to a vacant slot in the RVOSD OR on the DL rx.
