More:
It is very easy to implement this transmitter into your design. The transmitter has four connections:
Red: Power
Black: GND
Yellow: Video in
White: Audio in
You can connect any compositve video source to this transmitter. This includes but not limited to:
Digital camera video out
Video camera video out
Micro camera video out
The transmitter includes an RCA adapter cable. This cable terminates with female RCA connections.
Adapters are needed to connect this transmitter to some of our micro cameras:
KX131- Male BNC to male RCA
KPC-650CH- Male BNC to male RCA
The transmitter heats up relative to the operating voltage. It is normal for the transmitter to heat up 60 degrees Celsius when being powered from a 12VDC source. For prolonged life it is recommended to use a heat sink or place the transmitter in an airflow.
The easiest way to power the transmitter is by an AC to DC wall convertor.
The best portable power source is a 3s1p Li-Poly battery.
To determine the run time of a battery:
battery capacity in mAh divided by total current draw in mA= run time in hours
Current draw is added together (example) :
Transmitter- 300mA
Camera- 150mA
Microphone- 50mA
Total= 500mA
A 1000mAh 3s1p Li-poly will ideally power the above for two hours. It is always vital to consider how you battery voltage will drop as the battery is being discharged. A 15% margin is enough.
The 1000mAh battery will power the above setup for 51 minutes .
Transmitter channel selection ( for customers outside USA)
Black blocks with dots represent dip switch, CH1 is all switches to ON.
Transmitters, which are shipped to USA will have channels 2-8 disabled.

Common Applications:
•FPV video transmitter.
•Downlinking a digital camera from model helicopter/UAV.
•General CCTV video and security purposes where installing hardwired connection is not feasible.
